Whittier College History Orchard Project

In May 2019, the “California’s Golden Brew” project team planted a 64-coffee plant micro-orchard, in consultation with team member and farm consultant Scott Murray, Murray recently visited the campus as a short-term Fellow in the SUrF sustainability workshop series (10/5-10/6 2019) to help design and plant the new campus orchard. Murray advised members of Whittier College Facilities on best practices and planting techniques and will periodically visit the orchard to provide follow-up advice.
